Description & Mission Statement
The Project is a community resource in the River Road Area of Eugene for showing how to transform a suburban property. The goal is to make better use of on site infrastructure and resources, concepts of Permaculture, low cost materials and easily learned skills to reduce the property's and inhabitants' ecological and economic footprint. Development of food production, solar assets, habitat reconstruction, concrete removal, water collection and storage, local culture and more are key elements under development. Programs available to interested groups. Site visits can be arranged.
