Below is a list of Eugene-Springfield locations for public events. Descriptions are in many cases provided by the owners of the facilities and do not necessarily represent the opinion of Helios. Please contact us with updated information. Note: this is incomplete and under development.

Eugene

General

City of Eugene Facilities Rental Information
Description and contact information of about 15 City of Eugene facilities available for community events. The cost is typically between $45 and $55 per hour.

City of Eugene Park Shelters Park and Recreation Rental Brochure

The City of Eugene offers outdoor recreational shelters with water and electricity to rent at Alton Baker Park with capacities of 110 & 150. Owen Rose Garden is available to rent for weddings, with a capacity of 50, and the stage at the Washington/Jefferson Park is also available to rent for special events. Permits to reserve picnic shelters may be required.

Campbell Senior Center (City of Eugene)

This center has a touch of class and gardens and is located in a beautiful park setting. It features a lovely outdoor courtyard suitable for all occasions, from anniversary parties to beautiful weddings and receptions. This facility is also ideal for meetings and family or group events. It is conveniently located close to downtown and has accessible parking.

110 West Broadway at Olive
Costs: $40 the first hour, $25 each additional hour. $15 maintenance fee.

Use of the projector/screen/dvd/sound system is $20/hour.
DIVA offers space rentals for classes, meetings, events, films, receptions and parties. The community room accommodates 40-60 theater style preference given to visual arts-related events.

Eugene Public Library

Three spacious meeting rooms are available, including two on the ground floor that can be opened into one large room and a third on the second floor. The meeting rooms can be rented - $25 during library hours and $45 when the library is closed - but only for events that are open to the public and free. Two small study rooms on the second floor can be reserved for free.

A little touch of the past with a view. Nestled in the middle of Skinner's Butte Park, this site is close to the jogging path and has a beautiful view of the river. This cozy cottage offers an intimate space for weddings, family reunions and meetings. No alcohol is permitted.

McNail-Riley House

Main room takes 40-50 people and parlor takes 10-12 people. Full kitchen available. Meetings should be open to the public, and free or asking voluntary donations only. Schedule early, at least 14 days prior to event.

Shelton-McMurphey-Johnson House

Nestled against the slope of Skinner Butte, the "castle on the hill" is one of Eugene's most familiar and loved landmarks. Completed in 1888, the house is the most elaborate example of the Queen Anne Victorian Style architecture in Eugene. The house and grounds are available for public and private use, including tours, meetings, weddings, and receptions.

United Methodist Church

The church encourages use of their space by nonprofit and community service organizations. There are fees for renting the facilities, although these may be reduced or waived in some circumstances. Contact the office manager for application to use facilities. Fees must be paid one week prior to the event.

University of Oregon | FREE (UO organization must sponsor)
An UO organization must sponsor the event. This can be a student organization, such as the Survival Center.

Wesley Center (Methodists)

East

The Center for Meeting and Learning is a contemporary conference facility located on the main campus of Lane Community College. The Center features a 6900 square-foot main event space, high-tech auditorium, breakout rooms, demonstration kitchen, computer training labs and a spacious and light lobby with alcoves. In addition to its versatile event space, the Center has full service, in-house catering with a variety of options. The Center accommodates campus, community and regional events of all types. Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management students have the opportunity to work side by side with the Center’s professional staff in a learning lab environment.

Cost: Classroom for $12/hr (non-profit rate) to $320 for a huge community room for a weekend.

NYC is a non-profit located in the quiet residential neighborhood of Laurel Hill Valley, located 5 minutes east of the UO, and conveniently adjacent to I-5. Our campus has an LTD bus stop. Enjoy this site’s attractive location for your outdoor/indoor rental needs. Our multi-use room can accommodate 200 seated guests and has a stage, podium, and audio visual rental options. In addition to our indoor facilities, NYC has a natural grass field that is rentable by the hour and outdoor community garden plots that are rentable by the season. All revenues go back to supporting this youth development program.

Amazon Arts Center (City of Eugene)

This facility is available to rent for business and private groups, meetings, parties, reunions, weddings and receptions. Amazon Center is a part of the Amazon Parkway with access to bike paths, jogging trails and playgrounds.

Amazon Pool (City of Eugene)

Ideal for outdoor group gatherings and parties. The aquatic complex features a 50-meter x 25-yard pool, a 5-meter diving tower, one 3-meter diving board, two 1-meter diving boards, and a drop slide. There is also a 0'-4' deep multi-purpose pool with a water slide and play features, a beginner pool, sand play area, and hot tub. Updated locker rooms and family changing rooms are available. No alcohol is permitted.

A private 5 acre natural area in SE Eugene ideal for meetings and modest sized gatherings.

Rent Eugene's newest fully accessible community center. Enjoy the patio adjacent to the Multi-Purpose room during the summer months, and a cozy fireplace in the lobby during the winter. Hilyard Center has convenient parking and is part of the Amazon Parkway with access to bike paths, jogging trails, and sports fields.

Tamarack is nestled in the South Hills of Eugene, on 4.5 acres of beautiful property in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is the home of Four Winds Yoga, College Hill Montessori School, body workers and counselors. The Stewart Aquatic Center (formerly Easter Seals pool) is also part of the Tamarack complex. A variety of rental options are available from renting the pool for private parties to renting one of 5 rooms at an hourly or daily rate. We have several room sizes and configurations to choose from. Other amenities include basketball hoops, picnic tables, a dance floor, weight room, wheelchair accessible changing rooms, large grassy area, barbeque grill, refrigerator, child play area inside and a sand play outside. No alcohol is permitted.

The childcare room is also available for rent. No alcohol is permitted.
